We live in a society where we have photography at our disposal. A couple of touches on our phone and we can capture any special moment within seconds. Where do most of those photos end up? Facebook? Twitter? The majority of our photos are stored on social media but I bet you hardly ever print them out, am I right? Well I was a culprit of this. I didn’t have many print outs of my most loved photos. Storing photos on social media can be so beneficial but it also makes it so practical that you barely get to see them. Having printed versions of your special photographs can make a home a home. I’ve always wanted to get creative and make a photo board so when Printiki reached out to me I jumped at the chance to work with them. Printiki are a printing brand where you can upload your photos straight from Facebook or your phone and print them out. You can choose from different styles and even add captions to your special moments.

DIY PINTEREST PHOTO BOARD
I decided on creating a photo board instead of just popping them in a photo frame. I wanted to create something different and something arty. I opted for items I already had in my home so it made it super cheap too. All you need for this DIY is an old cork display board of any size. Some tiny wooden pegs which I got from the pound shop, some string and some led fairy lights.
I started off by measuring out how many photos I could realistically fit on the board. I worked out I could comfortably fit 9 photos. I measured 3 pieces of string to tie around the board. once I tied the pieces of string around the board and I began pegging three photos on each string equal width apart. Once all the photos were placed down I then took the LED lights and snaked them around the photos so each line of string had some lighting to brighten up the board.
It’s as easy as pie! Why not give this DIY a go and see what it looks like in your room? Let me know if you recreate it and tag me in your photos on instagram @imogenroseig If you’d like to get FREE SHIPPING with your printiki order then please use this code 97UG9YZF !
