Hey everyone! Welcome back to the blog! Today I thought I’d get creative and start a new series on my blog. A style edit featuring lots of fun festival outfits. I absolutely love festivals so my perfect combination would be fashion mixed with festivals!
Today I’m bringing you some festival outfits inspiration!
There’s nothing worse than getting your outfit wrong in terms of weather is there? You bring too many layers and you’re sweating like a pig trying to dance your arse off to Bastille under the beating sun – who am I kidding? I live in the UK so underdressing is more of an issue here. The likely hood of you jumping around looking like a drowned rat at a festival is pretty high. So it’s all about compromise. I feel like I need to be in minimal clothing but always carrying a rain mac in my bag just incase. So this little number is perf to be teamed with a little rain mac. Gingham print has always been an absolute fav of mine, I see it as a fun but timeless print.

I’d go heavy with the accessories with this look. I think I’ve started with a pretty safe bet in terms of the outfit so I would go extreme on the makeup and accessories. Maybe an arm bangle, some Billie Eilish style chokers, bangles and lost of body jewels! We all know Billie Eilish is the queen of festival outfits.
I never saw body harness’ before last year really. I think they’re very prevalent in the goth scene but in terms of main street fashion you didn’t really see them at all. The past few years I think the (main stream) high street fashion industry has become a lot more risqué so to speak (although I do think we have a long way in terms of judgement!) I think dressing a harness over a cute dress can make the whole look a lot more edgy. If you want to mix up preppy and goth in one look it’s definitely a decent way of achieving this.

Now this is a super fun look. I don’t wear much purple but I feel like this is going to have to be a must have this festival season. It still has that biker chick feel but the ruffle shape adds something cute to it.

CUTE BUT EDGY
Polka Dot Coord – http://tidd.ly/2e3d44b1
Polka Dot Mini Skirt – http://tidd.ly/5bae44df
This coord is one of my favs! The rust colour is absolutely gorgeous and the frill gives it that extra cuteness. This look finished off with some beachy waves and a quirky head band would look STUNNING!
This black festival mini may look super risqué but I’m going to be honest with you – I’m OBSESSED! It goes great over this two piece high waisted set. Add some chunk chains and we’re on to a winner here! This is the kind of dress I have been seeing ALL over Instagram lately. All black vibe giving us so much sass!
TAKING SEXY TO A NEW LEVEL!

I can see this quirky little number with some all black wellies and hair braids with hair jewellery. Black nail polish to make this look even more gothic is a total vibe too!
The cross body bag gives the outfit some extra texture (not that you need it with this one). I feel like because there’s so much going on with this look there’s no need for glitter (unless of course you’re a glitter fairy – then go crazy!)
CUTE IN CREAM!

This one may seem a little more simple but I feel like it’s a gooden none the less. This is perfect to double up as a holiday outfit. Or even a beach festival outfit maybe?
