OK – now where do I start with this post? Welcome, welcome if you’re new hiya! I hope you enjoy this post. And if you do be sure to check out my social medias because I LOVE making new internet friends! If you’re an OG then thank you babes, I love the supportive bunch round here, y’all are so positive *I’m hoping you read that in a mighty fine Texas accent because that’s how it should be*
I feel like my style is constantly evolving…I mean lately my Auntie has said I look like I’ve fell in paint a few times but that’s how it should be, huh? Or at least I like to think so ha! Today’s theme will be about jumping out of your comfort zone which is fitting – since my outfit is so bold and colourful in this post don’t ya think?
GETTING ODD LOOKS
Well, I’ve since dyed my hair blue as you can see and that has definitely drawn a lot of attention to me. So when I shot this look my blue hair teamed with bright yellow dog tooth print trousers and a icy grey bear coat didn’t help matters. But you know what, I embraced it. I have had a lot of compliments on my hair, but I also got LOADS of funny looks. People laughing and staring (which may have also been because of the photoshoot set up yano?). But it got me thinking about people as a collective. Although I received plenty of stares I got some lovely compliments off people which goes to show you there’s plenty of people who embrace individuality. And so it should be! Why walk around and not show off your personality through fashion? Why conform to society’s ‘normal’? Because no one is ‘normal’. We all have our quirks, some just choose to show their quirks through fashion.
PRETTY LITTLE THING WISH LIST THEY’RE KILLING IT
Pretty Little Thing got in touch with me to collaborate on their wish list campaign and I JUMPED at the chance when I saw their new ranges of bold, colourful pieces I knew I had to work with them. Who doesn’t want their Pretty Little Thing Wish List to come alive? I wanted to clash prints and go for the ‘more is more’ vibe. Let me know how successful you think I did in the comments! I chose this faux fur icy grey coat which is giving me total bear vibes. It’s SO cosy and warm. The quality of it is gorgeous! I think the contrasting icy grey colour against my hair is totally dreamy! Next up on the wish list were these funky yellow and black dog tooth pants. I always find my body shape suits a high waisted trouser and these come up perfectly up to my waist and feature this paper bag detailed belting around them. I don’t own any yellow in my wardrobe which I didn’t actually realise until I picked these pants. This is VERY strange for me because my wardrobe is so colourful and loud. I think the yellow really stands out against my hair.

MORE LOUD PRINTS?
If the dog tooth pants aren’t doing it for you, how about these zebra print boots!? Aren’t these the most fabulous boots you’ve ever seen? I’m all about clashing prints this autumn. You can never have too many prints. The life aim in fashion is to look like you’ve just fell out of a colouring book. You might get stared at, but at the end of the day you look bloody colourful. And really, who doesn’t like colour? The heel features this wide angled heel which I’ve seen all over the catwalk this year… A MUST for your wardrobe!
IRIDESCENT MERMAID VIBES? YES PURRRLEASE
Along with my top fashion picks from PLT I also picked up two beauty items. Who knew Pretty Little Thing did beauty? I didn’t!! The first one is this UNREAL glitter eyes palette. It features 6 gorgeous glitters and 6 STUNNING highlighters. The middle one is this absolutely beautiful iridescent pink / blue highlighter I’ve been using SO much lately. If you follow me on instagram you’ve probs noticed I’m pretty much showcasing a iridescent moustache in every single selfie through fault of this palette. I’m totally obsessed with highlighters – hence why I also picked up these Barry M highlighter drops in the colour liquid fortune. This highlighter showcases a proper bronzed goddess look. Totally perfect if you’re rocking a tan and want something a little more bronze looking in a highlighter.

THE QUESTION IS…
If you’re a blogger – how do you deal with people staring whilst you’re on a shoot? The way I see it, no matter who you are, if there’s a camera around, people always want to have a nosey. Some are just interested in what you’re up too. Others can be a little rude but I guess that’s something we have to deal with as bloggers. There’s always going to be those types of people who just don’t get it. And that’s ok. I used to get really embarrassed shooting in public but now I guess I’m used to people staring lol! Which is strange, because if you’d have told me that I would publicly shoot blog photos a year ago I’d probably laugh at you. People who know me, know I hate the attention on me (lol I know what you’re thinking, what!?) so to shoot in busy places was a big deal for me. Thankfully taking blog photos has now become (almost) second nature and as everyone always says, practise makes perfect!
Pretty Little Thing have got some MEGA deals for Black Friday coming up. Why not check out their pieces out: BLACK FRIDAY DEALS start on the 25th November. Don’t miss out
Let me know your thoughts on being out in public taking blog photos! I’ll leave you with a few extra photographs from my shoots. Hope you enjoyed the post! xox
