Update
So, I’ve not written up a piece of content in a WHILE…Let’s do a little catch up. Last time I spoke to you all I was in Bali…I travelled from April to August. I can honestly say I had the time of my life. I didn’t think I could fall in love with somewhere more than I did with Indonesia. The people are so incredibly friendly. The food is on another level. The whole atmosphere is just wonderful. I loved being surrounded by people who loved meditation and yoga as much I did ha. Unfortunately, due to the earthquakes on Lombok our trip was cut short. Somewhere I had a deep connection with was falling apart before my eyes. The experience was something I will never forget. As I was on the neighbouring Island, Bali the destruction was not anything like it was on Lombok and the Gili’s, yet the atmosphere was just as eerie. After the main earthquake, me and Liam experiences hundreds of after shocks. Every sound I would flinch. Every sound would make me run out of our apartment to our safety. After about a week we decided it was best to leave Bali and head back home. It won’t be the last I see of Bali though. I 100% need to go back!
Moving house
Having about 4 months off of the UK, we both started craving stability again. We wanted a base in the UK where we actually felt at home. Doesn’t mean to say we won’t be travelling again. Of course we have caught the travel bug now – so needless to say we will be back on a plane VERY soon! After about 3 weeks of looking we found our dream home. Completely different to the City life we’d been leading for the past 4 years with one another. We have finally settled on a Countryside house in Cheshire. The house is a barn conversion featuring original features such as beams and a stable door. It’s what I’ve dreamed of as a little girl. Absolute madness that our self employed journey only started around 18ish months ago and now we’re able to be living in a home we’ve dreamt about. No one has any idea how grateful I am. It means so much to me to be able to wake up and feel safe, feel inspired and be comfortable in my home environment.
Decorating the office for renters with Desenio
As soon as we moved in I got to work in making this house a home for me and my other half Liam. I wanted us to feel totally motivated in our home. We both work mad hours and need somewhere we can work and relax from. So it wasn’t a surprise when we turned the second bedroom into our office. It was the first room we got to work on (which kind of tells you our priorities lol). I new I wanted to decorate the office with a Scandinavian-esque style. Almost, industrial looking. Pretty minimalistic with a modern twist. I chose these incredible prints from Desenio. Considering the style I wanted to achieve It was no surprise I picked the two prints of Stockholm. I envisioned they would look really sophisticated next to two black and white prints. Once I saw that they had a Llama print I was sold. I have a discount code: “imogenrose” gives 25% off posters on Desenio between October 2nd and 4th.

Obviously in rented property you have to be careful not to ruin the walls for when your tenancy ends. Command strips are a really good alternative to drilling holes in your walls. You can buy these on amazon or your local supermarket.
