Looking fabulous with Fabletics
Recently i’ve been on a bit of a health kick. Myself and my boyfriend decided to start our own 6 week challenge – no sweets, no chocolate and no alcohol *grits teeth*. You heard that correctly, no alcohol for six whole weeks! Along with the healthy eating regime I’ve tried to get to the gym at least 4 times a week before work. Again, so far so good and I can feel myself becoming stronger and healthier. On the days I go to the gym before work I seem to drink less coffee than normal, huh? I feel so much more energised and awake after going to the gym. Now you’ve had the low down on my life for the past month you can understand why I was soooo excited when Fabletics wanted to work with me!
Even when you’re sweating like no other – you can still look cute!
I was lucky enough to be sent some items from the brand Fabletics. They do some really fun, quirky fun gym wear. Unique pieces made of fabulous material which you can’t get from just anywhere, so I thought I’d make the most out of my pick by choosing a crazy, colourful set.
The first item that caught my eye was these Salar Capri leggings in Global Print *. The leggings come in all sorts of styles and patterns but this particular set comes in this real abstract print, which I love. I’m a curvy size 12 so I opted for a size ‘M’ on the site and they fit me perfectly, figure hugging in all the right places. The material is your standard stretchy material but features a chafe resistant design which is perfect for all of us curvy ladies, can I hear a hallelujah?
The Everette* sports bra has a gorgeous, extremely flattering shape to it. It features extra straps across the body for extra support whilst keeping an attractive style. Again I opted for a size ‘M’ in this. I usually come out in a 34C/D depending on brands to give you an idea of the fit. The material is very soft whilst staying pretty breathable when working out. The padding is removable which is fab for when it comes to washing the bra. I find sports bras with the padding sewn in can easily become misshaped pretty quickly!
I chose a slightly more fashionable piece for the top – This Sophie Tunic in Black has a real bikini cover up vibe to it, so I’m feeling this maybe an Ibiza essential when I go away in September! Again I opted for the size ‘M’ because I wanted that oversize feel to it. It’s super edgy and grungy style will make it easy to piece together in Festival outfits too!
Had you heard of Fabletics before this post? Which is your favourite piece?
