Statement jewellery is always a winner in my eyes. Whether it’s a plain outfit you need to spice up, or just want to be a true maximalist – quirky statement pieces can finish off your outfit. I love all of the art deco inspired jewellery pieces around at the minute. I have a feeling it’s a trend which is going to stick around for more than a hot minute.
HOW MY STYLE HAS EVOLVED
I feel like since I turned into a blue haired troll doll my style has somewhat evolved. I’ve become a true maximalist. I’m loving the inspo Mika Francis and the lovely ladies from Confetti Crowd are giving me. All of the colours, prints and bold pieces mixed up to create unique looks. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love seeing gals like Copper Garden showing off their minimalist styling but I’ve just never been a minimalist in terms of my wardrobe.

HOW I’D STYLE…
Happiness boutique is a jewellery and accessories store. They stock pretty jewellery items just like the ones I’m wearing. The first pair, are these pretty art deco inspired face earrings. I’ve seen these all over instagram and I really couldn’t wait to get my hands on a pair. Each earring is different. One side is a gold stud and the other is a quirky looking face. I decided to put the stud in my tragus piercing instead. These quirky numbers are perfect for jazzing up an LBD like the quirky nike dress below. Alternatively, I’d wear these with my hair to the side, some black ripped jeans and a nice blouse. I’m obsessed with this funky zebra shirt linked above from Asos!
HOW I’D STYLE… [continued]
The other statement jewellery piece I picked up was this gorgeous ear cuff. It easily hooks onto any part of your ear. I placed it in between two other earrings which I thought looked pretty cute. Even though this piece looks very delicate I think you can dress this up or down. To dress it down I’ve gone for an edgy outfit, PU leather jacket, black bralette and high waisted black jeans. I’m loving the collection of jeans Nasty Gal has at the moment. These skinny jeans with the two stripes are my absolute favs! I think by adding this little cuff to this kind of outfit can give off that glam rock vibe. Top it off with a red lip and you’re sorted! Alternatively, this ear cuff can be worn as a pretty addition to a wedding outfit. I think this would look stunning with any wedding up-do. I can especially picture a french plaited, messy bun with this gorgeous cuff.
Happiness boutique have given me a cheeky discount for my lovely readers. They also offer free shipping as well as a customer reward program. By inserting ‘imogenrose’ at the checkout, you lovely lot will get 10% discount for orders over £17 and it is valid from February 7th until March 7th. Don’t forget to check out the earrings featured. They’re both linked throughout the article.
DO YOU WANT TO JOIN MY FASHION TRIBE?
So, are you a blogger wanting more traffic to your website? Do you utilise pinterest as much as you should be doing? I started using Tailwind a few months ago and noticed my traffic increased massively just by scheduling pins using tailwind. They have a feature called ‘tribes’ which is basically niche groups such as ‘fashion bloggers’, you share your pin in this tribe and it then gets re-pinned. Each tribe has different rules which you need to abide by but in the long run this way of marketing your blog is extremely beneficial!
