If you’ve seen some of my previous posts on body confidence you’ll know how I feel about empowering girls to be comfortable in their own skin. In a world where models are airbrushed, edited bodies are the norm and everyone has flawless skin online it’s difficult to not compare ourselves to instagram models. We just need to remember these images aren’t always real. There’s no point comparing yourself to images you see online. Although the internet is still prevalent with this type of imagery we did have a little bit of a breakthrough from ASOS. Last year ASOS was praised for using untouched images all over their website. CVS closely followed ASOS’ smart move by banning photo manipulation for store beauty brands. This can only hopefully create a ripple affect for other brands to follow.

Although I do have body insecurities – at 25 I don’t think I’ve ever been as comfortable in my own skin as I am now. I’ve had a new wave of ‘I’ll wear what the eff I want and I’ll own it’. A few years ago you would have seen me only admiring fashionistas wearing bold, quirky outfits. I envied people who would dress how they wanted and owned it. I now feel confident enough to slip my new B’tempted underwear on and be proud of my body. Stretch marks are completely normal. I used to be so self conscious about them. No matter
THE LINGERIE SETS
B’tempted have got some stunning bralettes in their brand new collection. Since bralettes have become a trend to wear as outerwear I’ve been on the look out for a little black lace one. I think they look beautiful under a sheer black top. Style with some ripped black skinnies and you’re on to a winner. Bralettes are also fab to wear as festival party wear. Especially, when the weather is a little more promising than in Manchester.

Valentines Day is quickly approaching and I’m feeling extra special in the lovely pink set from B’tempted. Don’t be fooled into thinking lingerie is just for your partner either. A fresh set of lingerie can make you feel body confident in a matter of minutes. Looking and feeling sexy is about you, and for you.
The pink and navy set really grabbed my attention. I don’t usually opt for pink underwear but when I received this little set and tried them on I was so pleased. This shade of pink is so pretty and delicate. I love the fact the inside lining is a gorgeous navy blue shade too. It makes the set look luxurious. They’ve completely changed my mind on pink underwear. I won’t be so quick to dismiss pink lingerie in future now!
Out of the three sets two of the knicker sets are brazillian style which I find extremely comfortable and very flattering on. The other pair of knickers are a fuller brief made of sheer fabric.
B’tempted stock their sets in 30A-38E and knickers in sizes S-XL. I opted for size M in the knickers and I’m usually about a 10-12.
Which set is your favourite? Are you a lover of matching underwear or do you prefer to match it up?
