Autumn is in full swing and I’m looking at restoring my wardrobe back to those autumnal vibes. The season that features lots of layering, scarves, blankets and hot chocolates. But that doesn’t mean you can’t layer up with transitional pieces such as this super cute playsuit from Cari’s Closet. I love mixing playsuits and dresses into my autumnal wardrobe. At the moment, it’s occasionally bearable to take this little number out with no tights and some thick socks and boots – but, come next week it could be a different story. As we jump into the autumn season full force, expect thick tights and a big fluffy cardigan to take this transitional piece through to winter with me. But for now, this transitional autumn ootd is staying. It features a plunging neckline and a bold floral print. What more could a girl ask for?
FROM RUNWAYS TO HIGH STREET
From Christian Dior to Marques Almeida floral prints were very big on the runways this year so there’s no doubt next year we will still be seeing more and more prints on the high street for us bargain hunters to replicate high end trends! I find autumn is great for bringing as many summer pieces along to layer up and make your autumn wardrobe that little bit more affordable. Chuck on a fluffy jumper or a quirky blazer on to a summer playsuit and you’re good to go.
The neckline on this piece features a large plunge line. I really wasn’t sure when I first unboxed this item. I instantly thought the bottom half wasn’t going to fit my larger than life hips and my big junk in the trunk but! I’m not blessed with the biggest boobies in the world so I find it hard to get clothes to fit my body shape. Trying the playsuit on I was extremely apprehensive. But, I was proved wrong. It fit like a glove. It didn’t gape on my chest and it fit my bottom half perfectly. I didn’t wear a bra with this because of the neckline plunging so low I don’t know if I would have been able to find something suitable. That suits me just fine because only recently i’ve started despising wearing bras. Anyone else hate wearing bras?

Cari’s Closet Jayde floral playsuit is priced at £20 on the website which I thought was an absolute BARGAIN! The material is quite thin so I don’t think I’d pay anything more than £30 to be honest but it definitely is a pretty piece to take me through to the party soon that’s for sure. I did the ZIP TEST which told me the zip is good to go. I find with cheaper playsuits sometimes the zips aren’t the best. I teamed this with a pair of grey thick socks and some black ankle boots. As the neckline is quite dressy, you can totally get away with wearing a quirky jumper over the top to create a more casual look. Cari’s Closet also sells beautiful prom dresses and bridal wear so if you need some top wedding inspo why not head over!
